About me

I have a professional background in sales leadership.  I share this at the outset because the next lines are un-sales-y, dispelling any misconceptions about coaching and giving an authentic, heartfelt introduction of the internal workings of me.

Firstly, let’s dispel some misconceptions … no-one ever has life ‘sorted’. We are all showing up and doing the best we can, some days nailing it and other days having (in corporate words) room for growth.

I’ve arrived at where I have because stuff hasn’t worked out. Personally and professionally, I have fallen down, started over and fallen down again, and that is the humanness and beauty of life.  I am grateful for it all, as it makes me a better version of myself.  Each moment has a growth and learning and for all the broken parts, I like to think of the Japanese art of kintsugi. The Japanese repair broken ceramics with a gold lacquer, believing it is more beautiful for having been broken.  In the human space, I believe we repair ourselves with gold lacquer and ultimately are richer, wiser and more beautiful for our experiences.

My personal, guiding value is to be kind.  I believe that when we are kind to ourselves, it grows and we have the capacity to be kind to others and the Universe (let’s face it, there is no Planet B).  The challenge is, in the busyness of life, self love, kindness and compassion often take a backseat. And in today’s work environment, I believe being kind is far from a warm, fuzzy, “nice to do”, but an imperative. (For more on KIND in business, click here).

As a coach, I am asking the questions, cheering loudly, mentoring and supporting you in your personal and / or professional growth.  To connect for a complimentary, 45-minute discovery session please click here.
